FREQUENTLY
ASKED QUESTIONS

SAFETY - are the webs safe?

Yes! Each web is comprised of thousands of strands of paracord, each individual strand has a tensile strength of 550 pounds. The paracord is knotted together at multiple points to multiple strands using approximately 6 different knots. The exterior rope is 1/2 " thick and tightened with a top of the line pulley system for maximum tension. The holes in the floor of the web are woven small enough that a child's foot cannot fit through. The pliable paracord also provides safe landings for bouncing on the ground or into the walls.

LONGEVITY - how long can I enjoy this funhouse?

Most webs will last 8-10 years with minimal maintenance. Like all things - it depends on a variety of factors like UV exposure (webs in the shade will have a longer life span than those in the direct sun); usage (residential webs will last longer than public webs); materials and colors used (some colors tend to react differently in the direct sun and may fade quicker). We do offer maintenance and repairs, as well. Repairs usually only take a couple of hours. The webs can also be expanded later in time to add new features and levels.

COST - how much will I spend?

The estimates are based on square footage and desired features. Each web is handwoven and therefore takes hours to build. We don't have a minimum cost but a reasonable size net will be around $10,000.

TREES - will this hurt the trees?

Healthy trees should not be impacted by the webs. We take great care to protect the integrity of the trees. For example, we will not wrap more than 60% of the tree and all areas where rope is is making contact with the tree the rope will be double sheathed for protection. In the event bolts are needed, we will use the least amount necessary. Getting a second opinion from an arborist of your choice is always encouraged.
